Alicia Gomera received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from City University of New York . She received her Bilingual Extension in Spanish with the Department of Education.
Alicia grew up in the Bronx and had to face a number of challenges, which rose from growing up in an urban environment. Being drawn to and interested in the work of school counselors impacted her professional interest and development.
Alicia mostly utilizes CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy as modalities of treatment. She is committed to being of true and lasting help to her clients. They always leave with something useful after sessions with her.
Being able to share her wealth of knowledge, expertise, wisdom, and coping strategies with clients keeps her working in the field.
When she isn’t working, Alicia enjoys dining out, the movies, nature, amusement parks, time with family, ice skating, roller skating, and shows.
