Alina Schindler is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MT #3753) in the state of Florida. She is a Florida native who received her BS in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and completed her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy at Barry University in Miami, Florida.
Alina has worked in various settings: group homes, public schools, client homes, and outpatient agencies facilitating individual, group, and family counseling. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, ADHD, depression, anxiety, family conflict, anger management, parenting, and trauma. She also has experience with substance abuse and self-esteem issues. In her years of providing therapy she has worked with young children, adolescents, and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses.
Alina uses cognitive behavioral, solution focused, family systems, and various evidence-based treatment modalities to accommodate to the client’s specific needs. She provides a supportive, judgment free approach to therapy and naturally connects with clients to form stable and genuine relationships in order to collaborate with clients to address their concerns.
