Hi, my name is Anne Horgan, LSCW. At a very early age, I knew that I had the heart of a Social Worker and that this was the passion I would pursue.

I completed my undergrad studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained a Major in Psychology. Further, I completed my Master’s Degree (Social Work) at the University of Chicago. I have over a decade of professional experience focused on mental health services including but not limited to case management, variety of clinical roles with individuals across the lifespan, psychotherapy in Partial Hospital Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Private Practice (ages 7 and above), Emergency Room crisis services and most recently for the last 5 years, hospital management/leadership focused on Inpatient Social Work, crisis mental health services and Emergency Department Social Workers. It was my mission to expand my knowledge and experience in several environments and to gain further understanding of our system both inpatient and in the community.

I typically describe my approach as eclectic and patient-centered. As appropriate, I will utilize elements of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, behavior modification, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness and imagery/meditation, mind-body connection, solutions-focused, and of course, strengths-based.

Throughout my clinical professional experience, I have worked with individuals across the spectrum including (but not limited to) depressive disorders, anxiety and panic, PTSD, postpartum mental health, psychosis, mania, adjustment issues, parenting, substance use, relationship conflicts, and loss.

It is my ultimate goal to create and provide a safe space for connection, to promote empowerment, comfort, trust, and engagement. I am humorous, with realistic expectations, I am down to earth, having a non-judgmental perspective, I believe a more natural and genuine approach helps in the outcome.

I am excited at the opportunity to continue to work with all individuals in all walks of life! I look forward to collaborating together as we navigate on a path that will assist in accomplishing small and large goals. We all have tapped and untapped inner strengths and I would be honored to be included in your journey!

I was born and raised in Minnesota but currently live in the beautiful state of Oregon with my family of three young boys, my supportive partner/rock, and all of our furry children. I love adventures!
