Dr. Bishoy Michael is a Psychiatrist and member of the American Psychiatric Association with extensive experience treating various mental health diagnoses and conditions.
Dr. Michael received his Medical Degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten with Academic Honors. He then completed his General Psychiatry Residency in Miami, Florida, where he was Chief Resident of one of the largest psychiatry programs in the county. Dr. Michael is licensed to practice in Maryland, Florida, New York, and California.
He has treated a wide range of chronic and acute mental illnesses, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He has a passion for mental health and strives to empower his patients through knowledge. Psychiatry is a partnership and he deeply believes a teamwork approach leads to the best outcomes.
Bishoy enjoys unwinding with his family, including his American Bulldog, Jasmine. He enjoys biking and fishing, but when he’s not traveling either domestically or internationally, he also enjoys watching movies and binge-watching episodes of all genres.
