Ms. Thomas is a dedicated mental health professional with excellent clinical skills demonstrated by 17 years in the healthcare industry as a licensed practical nurse, military mental health technician, case management, facilitating individual and group therapy with expertise in working with the military, veteran, LGBT, and adult populations. She skillfully integrated her experiences as a nurse, military enlisted member, supervisor, and educator to ensure standards of culturally competent care. Specializing in the treatment of PTSD, MST, anxiety, depression, and sexual minorities or gender non-binary, veterans, and adults. She does not believe one size fits all and she makes every effort to meet her clients where they are and help them find their own unique normal.
Breanne is passionate about starting conversations even if it is difficult or foreign initially. She feels it is important to utilize affirming practices in therapy and provide a safe environment for all clients. Her passion for providing care to the LGBT community began while she was in the military and during that time Don’t Ask Don’t Tell was repealed and the ability to serve openly for some service members made it even more important to be informed and provide competent care. Ms. Thomas’s experiences in the military also provide a unique insight into the hurdles of veterans and their families related to seeking mental health care.
After spending four years living in Panama City, FL, the beach is something that makes Breanne happy. Cooking from soul food to whatever she can make in an Instapot is a hobby she enjoys. She devours books most recently through audiobooks, as books have the ability to take her to a place of peace or even distraction that tends to act as a recharging opportunity. Breanne has three dogs (Rasta, Princess, and Jake from State Farm) who keep her busy outside of work.

Happier Living has been a breath of fresh air for me. My therapist and psychiatrist work together to provide the best care for me. I have never felt uncomfortable speaking openly to any of the staff and I am thankful to them for being able to answer any questions or concerns.
