Brenda grew up in the lower socio-economic part of Buffalo. Many of her close friends and family members suffered from mental illness. These personal and professional experiences were her inspiration. She was initially drawn to the field by the people suffering from mental illness who were left untreated. She has always loved and enjoyed caring for others and strongly feels that there is a balance between psychiatric and physical well-being. She wants to help individuals feel whole and well again. She believes in holistic health and has 35 years of experience as an RN. She also encourages mindfulness.
Clients should know that Brenda genuinely wants to help them. Their suffering is her suffering, and they are not just “another client.” Each and every story is meaningful to Brenda and she will work as hard as it takes to make her clients feel better. She doesn’t judge anyone and loves all individuals and cares for her clients like they are her family. Her goal is to lessen suffering and achieve great mental health.
When she isn’t working, Brenda really enjoys spending time with her three children. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and learning and expanding her knowledge. She loves to swim, read, bike, and kayak, and exercises regularly.
