Ms. Carmella Bell is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Texas.

Ms. Bell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Texas Southern University. She went on to earn a Master’s of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from Our Lady of the Lake University.

Carmella has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in inpatient, in-school, in-home, and virtual settings. She also has experience working with individuals and couples who struggled with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more.

She values authenticity and creating a judgment-free space where clients feel safe to be themselves. Her therapeutic approach is best suited for individuals who are ready for change or at a very minimum are willing to try. Carmella helps her clients learn to manage communication issues, family conflict, life transitions, marital issues, depression, anxiety, fear, grief, and loss. Ms. Bell’s solution-focused, cognitive and person-centered methods enable her clients to identify how they feel, what they want and devise an effective plan to create the change they want to see in themselves.

Carmella is a firm believer in practicing what she preaches. If she wants her clients to use healthy coping skills she must use them too. She loves watching movies, taking walks, spending time with friends, and laughing until her stomach hurts.
