Carmi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.
She has worked in various clinical settings ranging from a partial hospitalization program to a military base. She has had experience in facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, conducting home visits and providing couples counseling. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science at Utah Valley University and her Master’s degree in social work with a focus on Military social work and Veterans’ services at the University of Southern California.
She utilizes a flexible, eclectic approach of evidenced based practices depending on the needs of the client. In addition she also uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work with couples.
Carmi’s primary specialty and passion is working with active duty military or Veterans and their families, however she is also experienced in working with civilians dealing with anxiety, depression, psychosis, substance abuse, trauma, stress management and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Carmi currently provides brief solution focused counseling for active duty service members and their families on a military base.
