Charee Marquez is a Marriage & Family Therapist providing care in California. She holds a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a BA in Psychology and Minor in Women and Gender Studies.

Charee grew up in Chino, California. Both her father & sister struggled with substance abuse issues and this reinforced her belief that therapy was her calling and currently specializes in clients suffering from substance abuse.

Charee has always wanted to help people find their voice. She decided that she wanted to be a therapist after having a less than pleasant experience with a family therapist and realized that the field needed more advocates for clients. Clients often need a supportive cheerleader in the background and Cheree believes that is just what her role is. She loves hearing, “wow, you get me”!

Charee is proficient in many different therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and specializes in addiction recovery, mindfulness and holistic healing.

She is caring, fierce, loving and compassionate and strives never to anyone, instead opting for empathy. She believes that we harness our own power and so her job as a therapist is to allow her clients to learn this.

Outside of her clinical practice, Charee is an aerialist;  she spends her time outside hanging down from a hoop and silks.
