Ms. Cheryl Daniel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut.

Ms. Daniel obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from American International College, Springfield, MA, and earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut, School of Social Work.

Cheryl brings a wealth of experience to her practice with an approach that is client-centered and evidence-based with a positive perspective. Her therapeutic philosophy is that the therapist joins with the client in an effort toward restructuring and elevation to the next level.

She is proficient in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Grief/Loss, and the treatment of Trauma-related issues. Additionally, she is versed in the treatment of the Geriatric population through the use of Reminiscence and Validation Therapy.

Ms. Daniel actively listens and provides a place for reflection and expression of underlying issues. She is passionate about assisting the client to become the master of change. As stated by Winston Churchill: Success is the ability to move from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.
