Ms. Christine Schilz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, with over Ten (10) years of mental health experience.

Ms. Schilz received her Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement from Western Illinois University and her Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling from the University of Illinois Springfield.

She believes the answer lies within each of us to increase self-awareness and build strength to solve our own challenges. Therapy is a door of self-reflection and the therapist is a guide to self-discovery and gaining a greater understanding of ourselves. Christine believes that each person should be treated with dignity and respect, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Ms. Schilz has experience with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. She has worked with many concerns such as substance abuse, sexual assault victims, sexual perpetrators, mood disorders, personality disorders, transgender transitioning and anxiety spectrum disorders as well as couples and family counseling.
