Mrs. Diana Dawson is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of California.

Mrs. Dawson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and earned her Master’s degree in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University.

Mrs. Dawson has worked in various settings: public schools, client homes, and outpatient agencies facilitating individual, and family counseling. Her specialties include, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, family conflict, anger management, parenting, and trauma. In her years of providing therapy, she has worked with young children, adolescents, and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses.

She uses cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, family systems, and various evidence-based treatment modalities such as Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational interviewing, Depression Treatment Quality Improvement to accommodate the client’s specific needs. She provides a supportive, judgment-free approach to therapy and naturally connects with clients to form stable and genuine relationships in order to collaborate with clients to address their concerns.
