I am a bilingual LCSW in New York and a Level 1 Certified Trauma Professional, as well as a member of the International OCD Foundation where I completed my training under Dr. Alec Pollard, Director. I received my educational training at Fordham University in New York as a Master of Social Work with Interdisciplinary Certificate in Law and Child Welfare.

Each person poses a unique challenge to me because each person’s journey and story is different. I enjoy working with those who have come to realize that they need a change, that the same old way of doing things is no longer working and it is time to learn a better way of coping.

I offer evidence-based therapy to help people develop improved coping strategies to live fuller, more authentic lives. Change is a scary thing. Often times, despite feeling awful, people are fearful to take the necessary steps to improving their lives. I offer a humanistic/existential approach to get you “un-stuck”. In addition to my work with people, I am also working on certification as an animal behaviorist with an interest in rehabilitating and training shelter dogs to work with survivors of trauma.

I do not believe in a hierarchical structure to therapy. We are two travelers on the road of life – equals working together to make you the best you, possible.
