Ms. Elina Rudoy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I have been working with individuals with a dual diagnosis for the past 15 years. My work is my life’s passion and I love helping people create the life that they want for themselves. I have a Bachelors from the University of Santa Cruz, where I majored in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I am an eclectic therapist, which means that I don’t stick to any one approach. I use different approaches based on my client’s specific needs. Some of the approaches that I use are CBT, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, supportive therapy, client-centered therapy, and humanistic therapy to name a few.

In our sessions, we will engage in an open process where you can safely explore your feelings, thoughts, beliefs, wishes, and behaviors. My expertise will help you to understand the underlying causes of your current difficulties. In therapy, we will clarify how your emotions and thoughts impact your everyday experiences and relationships, and we will work to solve problems by identifying patterns that may be connected to your distress. I believe through therapy, as awareness is raised and insights are established, shifts and changes can be made for the betterment of your life.

My areas of experience are substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I specialize in the following issues: ADHD, behavioral issues, codependency, coping skills, family issues, relationship issues, marital issues, Bipolar II Disorder, life transitions, self-esteem, women’s issues, life coaching, and stress.

I look forward to working with you!
