Dr. Erika Zavyalov is a Doctor of Osteopathy licensed in the states of California, Georgia, and Virginia.

Dr. Zavyalov obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and her Medical Degree at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

She was commissioned as an Army Officer prior to medical school and went on to complete her residency in General Adult Psychiatry at Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Zavyalov served for 4 years as an Active Duty Psychiatrist in the Army after residency, working at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield near Savannah, GA. 

Dr. Zavyalov is passionate about increasing access to quality mental healthcare, as well as helping patients function more optimally in their lives. She has experience in outpatient and inpatient settings and loves teaching medical students and residents. She plans to pursue more training in Integrative Psychiatry.

When she is not working, you can find Dr. Zavyalov in the gym or running outside – she loves being active and has competed in bodybuilding shows in the past. She also loves to cook, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
