Erin is a bilingual (English and Spanish), Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing care in North Carolina & New York. She has spent a large part of her life living in Europe and Latin America. Living abroad has given her the opportunity to immerse herself in different cultures and to learn about human behavior through many different lenses.
Erin’s interest in working in behavioral health started 13 years ago when she became certified and trained through the Relate Institute in the United Kingdom to be a couples counselor. Erin soon realized that she wanted to broaden her knowledge and expand the way she could help her clients which led her to obtain a Masters Degree in Social Work.
Upon being awarded her MSW from Syracuse University, she worked in an outpatient clinic, as both a therapist, and as a supervisor. She gained extensive experience working with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, self harm, family problems, relationship problems, divorce, anger management, and life changes, to name but a few areas.
Erin feels that her own life experiences have led her to a field where she can help people using her skills of being an empathetic listener, compassionate, and supportive to her clients. She is able to help clients work through areas where they are struggling and develop coping skills to enable them to live to their true potential.
Erin looks forward to working with you!
