Mrs. Franchesca Tucker graduated from Hampton University in 2007 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Following graduation, she worked for the Infants and Toddlers Program assisting children from birth to age three who have a diagnosed condition, a developmental delay, or atypical development.

Building on her passion for providing care to those with mental disorders, she went back to school and graduated with honors in 2010 from Norfolk State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She proceeded to work in a variety of specialties including labor and delivery, pediatrics, internal medicine, occupational health at the US Capitol, behavioral health, and allergy, asthma, and immunology. In a quest to do more for her patients as a provider, Mrs. Tucker graduated from Walden University with her Master’s of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2020.

She values the promotion of behavioral, mental, addictive, and physical health. Franchesca also believes in taking a holistic and collaborative approach to medication management and providing community resources that are tailored to the individual needs of each person.

Mrs. Tucker is a part of professional organizations Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Inc. In her free time, the things that make Mrs. Tucker happy include traveling with family, crafting, and Maryland Blue Crabs.
