As a therapist and as a collaborator in the therapeutic process, and as an empathic holding space for the hurting psyche and body, I aim to integrate my clinical knowledge and my authentic presence to best support my clients. I believe that above being an expert in any specific theory or strategy related to therapy, it is of utmost importance to be an expert in connecting with authenticity and full presence.

This is why after several years of experience working with families and individuals that have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression, I have come to value the power of mindfulness with all my heart. It is this tool, this key to peace, that might allow all of us the opportunity to access wisdom, strength, and healing.

I specialize in helping clients, fellow humans, that are suffering from emotional pain to de-intellectualize their processing through the use of sensory experience, art, and mindfulness practice. Emotion is fleeting. It does not always have to make sense. Sometimes, our emotions show themselves, so that they may be felt, experienced, tolerated, and integrated.

Based on a trauma-informed understanding of how early life stressors impact the brain, I aim to provide the most developmentally appropriate interventions to treat the stages of life that were wounded. I take a psychodynamic approach to support clients in understanding how their early life experiences have impacted their current understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. Then I journey with clients towards an oasis of deepened awareness, increased wisdom, and a more trusting relationship with the self.

After graduating in 2017 with my Master’s Degree in Counseling from California State University of Los Angeles, I ventured into the intensive field-based work I will never forget. I had the opportunity to learn deep lessons about how trauma impacts the psyche, as well as how powerful therapy can be for those dedicated individuals. During this time, I was trained and certified in Child-Parent Psychotherapy as well as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, which allowed me to understand humans in an extremely potent way. We have all been children. We all have our own inner child. And we are all capable of healing the parts of us that were not seen, heard, and loved in the way we needed them to be.

Meet me in session for a mindful, deep, and life-shifting therapeutic experience. I believe in us as humans, I believe in you, and I believe in the changes you wish to make.
