Mr. Gilbert Clark, MA, LPCC, LADC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Minnesota.

Mr. Clark completed his graduate studies at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies.

Gil was trained at the Mayo Clinic and that training enriched his understanding of holistic wellness. Additionally, Gil has experience in a wide variety of treatment environments with a diverse clientele and understands that treatment is most effective when care is tailored with respect for the individual.

To create his tailored therapeutic approach, Gil uses an eclectic process that draws on cognitive, narrative, and solution-focused therapy. He is trained in EMDR to treat trauma. Gil is identified as creative and has written, recorded, and performed original music with a specialization in recovery music. These modalities allow Gil to provide a creative, experiential, compassionate, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach and therapeutic style.

Gil specializes in addiction treatment and recovery, and he is able to guide you through the initial substance use assessment, all the phases of recovery, and towards ongoing wellness and maintenance. Gil has a passion for mental health healing and is skilled at relationship challenges, familial challenges, families seeking support for their loved ones, self-exploration, and trauma.

Gil loves music and especially stringed instruments. He has relocated to an area near the Great Lakes and loves the water, hiking, and sports that include skiing and golfing. Gil loves his family and is blessed with four daughters.
