Dr. Jacqueline Hirk is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California.

Dr. Hirk received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Argosy University. From there, she attended Pacifica Graduate Institute and received her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Hirk has worked in various settings: group home, hospitals, nursing facilities, private practice, public schools and community outpatient clinics. Her specialties includes: depression, postpartum, anxiety, vocational stress, anger management, family conflict, parenting issues, relationship issues, infidelity, divorce, domestic violence, substance abuse, codependency, trauma and PTSD. She also has experience with grief, women’s issues, self-esteem, racial identity and LGBTQ. In her 11 years of providing therapy she has worked with children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients from culturally diverse backgrounds with mild to severe symptoms.

Dr. Hirk is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist but uses various evidence-based treatment modalities to accommodate the patient’s specific needs. She provides a safe and nurturing environment for patients to feel valued and supported. She takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy to help patients find meaning, purpose and fulfillment in different areas of their life.

Dr. Hirk is bilingual and can speak conversational Khmer.
