Ms. Jennifer Card is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Washington.
Ms. Card worked in the military as a social worker and has worked in diverse inpatient and outpatient settings, from Pediatrics, serving Alaska Natives and Native Americans, to a psychiatric inpatient hospital for children and adolescents, to providing counseling for active-duty soldiers. She has experience working with all ages of children, adolescents, families, and adults who have anxiety, depression, psychosis, substance abuse, a trauma history, and history of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Jennifer completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Hawaii. She has a post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), an evidence-based approach to work with children with disabilities, but this approach works great with parenting as well. She also has an associate’s degree in chemical dependency. She has worked with children in individual counseling and with children in a school setting. She utilizes brief solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing to accommodate the client’s needs.
In her free time, she loves completing triathlons with her 22-year-old son with autism. She loves swimming and being outside. She loves talking with people of all ages and backgrounds and connecting with people.

I am very pleased to be working with Happier Living. It is very helpful to have both my psychiatrist and psychologist in the same place. They are able to read each other’s notes.
