Dr. Jillianne Grayson was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Johns Hopkins University for her undergraduate education. She obtained her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. She completed her intern year in internal medicine at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and then completed two years of neurology residency before switching specialties to psychiatry. Dr. Grayson completed her adult psychiatry training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She will complete her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Children’s National Medical Center in DC in July 2021.
She works with clients across the lifespan to include children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Dr. Grayson helps patients struggling with varied psychiatric diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder to manage their symptoms through both medication and lifestyle interventions. She believes in an integrative approach to treating psychiatric disorders, incorporating therapy, elements of mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise into her treatment recommendations.
Dr. Grayson is a certified yoga instructor and has a special interest in mindfulness. With a personal belief in making every day count, she makes time for her passions of painting, yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
