Julie Tatian received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from West Coast University and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from California State University, Los Angeles. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Julie was born and raised in Los Angeles. She grew up in a supportive family with two brothers. Her father raised her to be goal-oriented and taught her that if she put her mind to something, she could achieve it. This shaped her into the woman she is today.
Julie was drawn to the field after seeing a close family member struggling with depression and anxiety and not receiving quality mental health care. The stigma and lack of resources surrounding mental health were her motivation to help vulnerable populations.
Seeing the significant impact support and treatment has on people motivates Julie to keep making a difference. She provides unbiased, culturally competent care and wants potential clients to know that she will provide a safe space for them.
When she isn’t working, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends while also having free time to herself. She also enjoys going to the gym or pilates.
