Ms. Kirstin Dowsett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York.
Ms. Dowsett completed a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in History at Portland State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of Washington in 2011.
Having a primary healthcare background and having worked for several years with oncology, heart transplant, and palliative care teams. Ms. Dowsett has experience in individual counseling, group therapy, crisis work, grief, and bereavement support. She recently completed CBT training through the Beck Institute.
Her passion for coming alongside individuals as they journey into deeper knowledge and acceptance of their core selves has blossomed into so many successes and equipping them with tools to navigate relationship dynamics and life stressors. Ms. Dowsett is committed to providing a safe space, attuned empathetic listening, and clear communication.
Outside of the office Ms. Dowsett enjoys hiking, exploring new cities, getting out on the water in a kayak, and reading up to five different books at any given time.
