Mrs. Klarissa Stovall received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield. She started out working with children in foster youth, to teenagers in group homes and juvenile detention facilities, and their families. Klarissa then began to work with adults in an outpatient setting suffering from varying degrees of mental health issues from depression and anxiety, to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She also has experience working with adults suffering from dual-diagnosis and trauma.

Klarissa has assisted varying types of symptoms including but not limited to: suicidal ideations, co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, grief, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and adjustment disorders.

She believes in a holistic approach addressing both body and mind as a whole through a combination of solution-focused, strength-based therapy, building self-esteem, and improving communication skills to help you address and cope with challenges.

Klarissa enjoys working out, spending time with her husband and cats & enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and cooking.
