Lauren Carnine holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
For Lauren, helping people is personal. Growing up in San Diego, she saw family members struggle with mental illness and she had a strong desire to help them.
Lauren is passionate about her work and considers herself caring, gentle, and intelligent. She believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and doesn’t believe in stigmatizing labels. Her primary goal is to help and do it from a non-judgmental space.
Lauren has worked with clients with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, personality disorders, and substance use. She enjoys seeing her clients learn skills that help change their lives.
Lauren believes that it takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. For clients who are ready to take those steps, she is happy to support and empower them.
Outside of work, Lauren’s main passion is travel. She is also interested in social advocacy and political issues.
