Lisett Planche received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Buffalo and her Doctor Of Medicine from American University of Antigua. She completed her Residency at the Metropolitan Hospital Center at New York Medical College.
Dr. Planche was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. When she was eight years old, her family migrated to the United States. Being a young immigrant family in the United States came with a lot of struggles and tribulations, but the experience made her resilient and better able to cope with a variety of positive and negative emotions. This set the foundation for her professional journey as a psychiatrist.
As a child, Dr. Planche always had an interest in the human mind. When she went to college, she majored in Psychiatry to gain a broader perspective about the field. When she decided to go to medical school, her love for psychiatry did not change.
Dr. Planche loves connecting with her patients on an emotional level. She is ambitious and driven and thrives on challenges, constantly setting goals for herself, so she has something to strive toward.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Planche loves outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, biking, and snowboarding. She is a foodie and loves going to restaurants. She is also happy reading a good book.

Hands down the most caring staff, from the psychiatrists to client support. Several times I needed appointments on short notice and they made it happen. My clinician was down to earth and caring and made me a better man. Having been to psychiatrists from all over the world I would never switch from Happier Living.
