Maryam Gulraiz received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Irvine, her RN certification from United States University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University, and her Master of Science in Nursing – FNP  from Charles R Drew University. She has a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health.

She got into the field because she has always enjoyed helping people in pain and in need, and she wants to make our communities healthier.  She strives to treat her patients with optimal respect and dignity and without judgments. She especially enjoys helping parents with postpartum depression.

Gulraiz grew up in an immigrant family and saw her parents work very hard to earn a living in the United States. Her father is a physician from Pakistan, and the family moved here when she was 13. She has lived in Orange and Los Angeles counties most of her life. 

When she isn’t working, she likes to cycle, hike, cook, and hang out with her family.
