Dr. Michael Gallo, PSYD is a clinical psychologist who has a wealth of experience working with couples, families, and individuals.

Dr. Gallo has worked effectively with clients with severe and persistent mental illness, addictions, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. As well as with ordinary civilians, incarcerated individuals, as well as Veterans and their families and I am sensitive to their needs.

Dr. Gallo’s experience speaks volumes with regards to my strong ethical values, and superior ability to advocate for clients, skillfully assessing needs and modeling methods to counteract triggers of dysfunctional behavior. Throughout his career, he has gained a reputation as a focused psychotherapist helping clients make sense of their lives.

Dr. Gallo’s therapeutic goals in working with clients are as follows:

  • Foster a warm and safe environment where clients can address issues without fear of recrimination.
  • Utilize psycho-education to address behavior responsibility and encourage self-help and functional living.
  • Implement psychotherapy that includes CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Psychodynamic and other modalities to identify the level of need and ensure a treatment plan addresses those needs.
