Mrs. Miranda Nellis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York. She completed both her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Masters in Social Work with a focus in Dual Disorder course work at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY.

Miranda worked as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence prior to becoming a therapist. Since completing her master’s degree Miranda has worked in a variety of settings including on a college campus, community mental health, and currently sits on the board of Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County.

Miranda enjoys time outside, going for walks, camping, and going on adventures. She has a dog named Ike who is extremely spoiled and loves to lay in the window, bark at strangers, and nibble on treats. Miranda loves creating and recently started scrapbooking. She loves baking and has been trying to make recipes she finds on youtube like danish, different breads, and cookies.

Miranda Nellis is an LCSW in NYS with experience working across the mental health treatment spectrum and works from a trauma-informed, solution-focus, and patient-centered philosophy. She has training and experience in DBT, CBT, and motivational interviewing. Miranda’s approach to therapy is holistic and focused on the whole person not just the pieces of struggle or hurt. Miranda has a passion for helping people find their best and true selves and strives to help every patient succeed in a Happier Living.
