Dr. Nouri immigrated to the US after one year of high school in Iran and graduated from Palos Verdes high school, in Los Angeles County. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA, with a minor in biology and Iranian studies. He then received a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family therapy from Argosy University of Orange County, and a certification degree in Gerontology/Elderly Dementia/Alzheimer’s from the Chicago School of professional psychology, in Westwood, CA. Dr. Nouri received a doctoral degree in clinical forensic psychology from the Alliant University, in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Nouri was licensed as a Psychologist following the completion of his doctor of psychology degree (Psy.D.) in California, having completed pre-doctoral and post-doctoral internship starting in September of 2011 at the Institute for Multicultural Counseling and Education Services, Inc., accredited by American Psychological Association. His training included providing community mental health services and subsequent documentation. Fluent in reading and writing Persian (Farsi), Dr. Nouri served as the program director of the Full Service Partnership (FSP) intensive outpatient program since March of 2013, and subsequent FSP subtypes including Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) and Misdemeanor Incompetent to Stand Trial (MIST) since September of 2015, when he also began serving as a supervising psychologist for pre-doctoral interns. Bilingual ability allowed his to provide community mental health services to Iranians of Armenian, Assyrian, Kurdish, Azeri, Persian and Jewish ethnicities who spoke Persian (Farsi) as their first or second language.
