Ms. Norit Bercovicz (pronounced Nor-reet Berk-o-vitz) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (#122569), as well as a Registered Art Therapist.
Ms. Bercovicz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for more than 7 years.
Through her own experiences, personal growth, and training, Norit has created a passionate practice incorporating Art Therapy, mindfulness-based practices and more, with the intention of teaching enhanced awareness. Norit takes a client-centered approach and will meet you with where you are at, whether that includes art making or not. She specializes in working with individuals who struggle with day-to-day anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties, as well as those who seek to clarify and transform uncertainty into opportunity.
Norit is happiest when she is out in nature whether that is on a hike, camping, or on a backcountry backpacking trip with family and friends. Norit recharges by spending time with loved ones and her little fur baby.
