Oluwatoyin Aluko received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specialization from Walden University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and her Associate degree in Nursing from Oklahoma City Community College.
She grew up in an African country where people with mental health issues are treated poorly and not given the care they need. She came to the United States with a background in the medical field and was able to understand the needs of mental health patients. Her interests are in understanding the way mental health problems can affect the daily lives of people if they are not treated and how people handle or treat those who have mental health issues. She looks forward to increasing awareness of mental health issues and access to resources.
Oluwatoyin enjoys providing services to clients who are depressed or anxious due to circumstances beyond their control. She helps them cope with issues so that they can still function at work and among friends and family without missing out.
She is very committed to her clients and is reliable and an excellent communicator and listener. She is hardworking, honest, always on time, and enjoys her work. Quality therapy and compliance to treatment are keys to excellent care.
When she isn’t working, Oluwatoyin loves to spend time with her family and travel. She also loves sleeping and watching movies.
