Ms. Osnat Klein’s educational credentials are a B.A. from Hunter College, NYC; an M.S. in Gerontology from UNT in Denton, Texas; an M.S.S.W. from UT-Arlington, Texas and she is a holder of an LCSW license in Texas.

Ms. Klein’s work experience is long and varied. She started in Child Protective Services in an Abuse Unit and later worked for many years in Nursing Facilities as a Social Worker. Her clients in the Nursing Facilities encompassed all ages (youngest was 19 to oldest at 100). She has worked with a hospice company for end-of-life issues and has co-led group therapy sessions for women in incest recovery. For the last five years, Ozzie has worked as a Psychotherapist in Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. Her passion is to help people help themselves to improve their mental health and find solutions to their problems. She uses various modalities that are suitable to the client, such as CBT, Life Review, ACT, and Psycho-education.

Ozzie has a rescue cat that she adopted 6 months ago who was traumatized by her circumstances. Ms. Klein enjoys having a “fur-ball” and watching her cat get less and less nervous and twitchy. Ozzie reads a lot more now and has just “graduated” from tree-ware to a kindle. She loves to listen to music and prefers mostly classical, classical jazz, blues, country-western, and 60’s-70’s rock. Ozzie watches a lot of movies and series, more so since the COVID lockdown. Now and then she plays with her fountain pens.
