Ms. Patricia Hinckley is a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan.
As a therapist, educator, and author I believe that our experiences shape not only our destiny but also our identity. What we have been through, not only challenges us but also makes us strong. I encourage clients to build on their strengths and own their identity.
I earned my Master of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University from the Department of Counseling Psychology and Counseling Education. As a post-graduate, I have added certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Clinical Supervision with additional courses in Telehealth Therapy, treatment of Anxiety, and Sleep Disorders.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, and disordered sleep; including insomnia and nightmare/dream disorders.
Creativity is at the center of my approach to therapy, I am constantly learning and adding to my toolbox of solutions. In addition to counseling I have a working art studio, occasionally teach at the university level and write books. I am choosing to happy dance through life, perhaps you’d like to join me!
