Dr. Radhika Katyal is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.

Dr. Katyal graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Minor in Spanish. She got her Doctorate in Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology in 2012. Dr. Katyal is bilingual Spanish speaking and has over 10 years experience working in several clinical settings, including: nonprofit agencies, community outpatient mental health centers and in a prison mental health facility. Given her clinical treatment history, she has vast experience in assisting people from various backgrounds is passionate in assisting others in helping them understand their emotional health and finding solutions to the things that they are struggling with.

Dr. Katyal’s approach to psychotherapy is a partnership where she believes the patient is capable of finding solutions and achieving a better quality of life with the assistance of a therapist. Dr. Katyal is focused on results-oriented therapy and assisting her clients in feeling their best as quickly as possible. Dr. Katyal’s approach to psychotherapy includes utilizing Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, with emphasis on a present-moment focus while balancing gaining insight on one’s past in order to move effectively into the future. Dr Katyal, uses the techniques of Acceptance and Commitment therapy as well as important tools to help her patients make effective changes in their lives.
