Dr. Sandy Tobik is an accomplished and board-certified Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Tobik obtained her undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, in Bloomington, IL, while being named an NCAA all-conference athlete. She completed her master’s and doctoral degrees from NYU, in New York, NY. She received her clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center, NYU Langone Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center, and Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York, NY.

She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She also specializes in geriatric psychiatry and has worked extensively with patient populations of all ages in the inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric emergency, and consult-liaison settings.

Dr. Tobik understands that a comprehensive history is essential to an accurate diagnosis and collaborates with her patients in developing an individualized treatment plan. She is passionate about the mental, physical, and spiritual health of her patients. She enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family. She continues to work in the psychiatric emergency setting, when not serving patients in the private setting. What makes Dr. Tobik happy is seeing her patients achieve their goals.
