Sean Mintz, PSYD
Psychologist

Dr. Sean Mintz, PSYD has been a Licensed Psychologist since 2010, in total, has over 16 years of experience practicing Counseling and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Mintz graduated from Rutgers University in 1999 with a BA in Psychology. He then graduated from Monmouth University in 2002 with an MA in Psychological Counseling and from Alliant International University with a Psy.D. in Forensic Psychology in 2008. Dr. Mintz has been providing mental health services for inmates in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation since 2008 and has done so in a supervisory capacity since 2013. In addition to being a therapist, Dr. Mintz also has an extensive amount of experience in psychological testing and assessment, including neuropsychology, and Dr. Mintz also teaches college classes as an Adjunct faculty member of Antelope Valley College.

As a therapist, Dr. Mintz specializes in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorders. Dr. Mintz considers psychotherapy to be a valuable intervention in the facilitation of behavioral, social, and emotional growth.
