Consistent with the Happier Living philosophy, Dr. Choe believes that not everyone needs medication, but that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy.
In fact, she has maintained a private practice doing both psychotherapy and medication management for the past 20 years. She has a background in psychodynamic psychotherapy training; she believes that this approach helps her to hear and understand her clients more fully, and to make the most appropriate medication choices when medication is indicated. She partners closely with clients in choosing the right medication, monitoring their response, and managing any side effects that may occur.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Choe has also continuously worked in clinical settings because she enjoys working with a team. She has been described by her clients and colleagues to be knowledgeable and compassionate, and she enjoys working with people from all walks of life.

Happier Living was a lifesaver for me today. By some miracle I was able to see Dr. Schwartz at the last minute today to help with some pretty big changes in my life recently. She was very kind, attentive, a true professional, but also very fun and relatable!
