Similar to other providers here at Happier Living, Dr. Green believes that everyone could benefit from therapy, someone unbiased to talk with, while not all conditions or problems require the use of medications. In his private practice and his work at the hospital, he employs psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive behavioral therapy as well as alternative modalities such as Emotional Freedom Technique, Eye Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing, and is certified by the Brian Weiss Institute in Past Life Regression Therapy. He is also Reiki II certified, a certified yoga instructor, and a 4th-degree black belt in the art of Shaolin Kenpo Karate. As such, he is a strong proponent of daily meditation and achieving and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. He wishes for his clients to discover who their authentic selves truly are and to make that flourish.
In his private life, Dr. Green is the father of 4 grown and wonderful children. He enjoys long walks through the woods with his wife and his cunucu rescue dog from Aruba, “Buddy”. Prior to developing knee problems, he was an avid runner, participating in numerous road races including the Boston Marathon. He has taught self-defense classes, still teaches yoga from time to time and enjoys working out at the local gym, woodworking, and music. Proper nutrition and relishing healthy meals are viewed as important components of a balanced life. Dr. Green remains available to assist you on your amazing journey through this incredible life.
