Ms. Tracy Walker, M.Ed., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Ms. Walker received her Bachelor of Science degree at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater OK, and her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from East Central University in Ada OK.
Ms. Walker specializes in helping others overcome addictions, anxiety, anger, and depression. She uses several therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Talk Therapy, and Trauma Therapy. She also has special training in Gambling Addiction, as well as other addictions.
Ms. Walker understands people who seek therapy simply want to be happier. They have a plan for their life that may not be working out the way they thought it would. This often makes a person want to escape their problems, which can lead to a multitude of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm, or substance abuse. The purpose of therapy is to learn how to create a life you no longer wish to escape from. Together you will look at your personal self-care practices, as well as your work-life balance, and together you will identify the areas of your life that need adjustments. Ms. Walker will help you plan and implement the needed changes so you can achieve the happiness that you are longing for.
Ms. Walker is a nature lover, she loves hiking and traveling. She has rescued cats and a very spoiled dog. She also has chickens who you may hear during your sessions. She believes we all need to slow down and do more of the things that give us peace and happiness. She has a holistic and goal-oriented approach to treatment that will be personalized to your specific needs. Life is supposed to be fun. You are supposed to be happy! Let Ms. Walker and the team at Happier Living help you find your way to happiness!

Happier Living has been a breath of fresh air for me. My therapist and psychiatrist work together to provide the best care for me. I have never felt uncomfortable speaking openly to any of the staff and I am thankful to them for being able to answer any questions or concerns.
