Dr. Yakov Semenov uses an integrative approach to the treatment of psychiatric and psychological problems with a combination of individual psychotherapy, healthy modifications to lifestyle, and medication management. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and has been practicing psychiatry and psychotherapy in the United States since 2009.
Dr. Semenov was born and raised in Russia. He completed his medical training at Russian State Medical University and initially practiced psychiatry in Russia. He then came to the United States and completed his psychiatry residency training at the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Semenov has an active and very dynamic life, playing sports on his own and with his family and friends. He loves to travel to interesting places in the world, to read and educate himself, and to play guitar.
