Mrs. Zanthresa L. Hampton is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee and is a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider.

Mrs. Hampton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice & Correctional Services with a concentration in Juvenile Justice and a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling: Community, Agency, and School from Jackson State University.

She believes that life is never a bag full of goodies. Sometimes it comes with difficulties and challenges that we must face with strength and endurance. However, with the strength and self-confidence we have, we will be sure to meet those challenges and difficulties head-on and rise above them victorious.

Zanthresa is not your ordinary therapist. She offers a highly personalized counseling approach to children and adolescence, adults and their families, addressing individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they are striving to obtain. Zanthresa also provides premarital and marital conflict counseling, couples counseling, and spiritual counseling. She is equipped to work with clients ranging from ages 5 years to 99 years. By meeting them where they are, challenging them when needed, and helping them navigate through life difficulties, she has experienced bringing support to diverse populations in achieving their highest potential. She has an extensive work history as a mental health professional with a background of expertise and experience equipped with a broad knowledge of the counseling industry. Zanthresa affirms the needs of the whole person–body, health, mind, and spirit and is sensitive to the uniqueness of each person’s viewpoint and needs. She provides a safe and judgment-free zone where the client’s voice will be heard in a compassionate and confidential atmosphere to do so.

Zanthresa loves spending quality time with her husband and their four children. They enjoy hanging out at home mostly, yet never pass up an opportunity to travel, attend concerts and sporting events, serve their church and community, spend time with their families and friends, or minister to children and youth. They have two Labrador Retrievers, CoCo and Rocky, and a grand-doggie pitbull, Bella.
