She is passionate about helping adults of all ages and backgrounds feel supported, confident, and comfortable as they journey toward becoming happier, healthier, and more successful. A strength-based approach supports individuals in their journey to embracing their authentic selves with love and compassion. It assists adults in focusing more on internal strengths and resourcefulness. This sets up a positive mindset that builds on best qualities and improves resilience.
She was drawn to the field of counseling after seeking counseling herself in her journey of becoming who she was meant to be. She personally saw the benefits of counseling in her own life and developed a deep desire to share that with others. Anyone who is committed to honesty and hard work will reap the rewards of counseling.
Schwartzenburg loves meditation and beginning her day by writing a gratitude list. She enjoys traveling with her husband, hiking, biking and has just begun to explore yoga. She lives at home with her husband, who is retired, and their two shih tzus, Macie and Gracie.

I am very pleased to be working with Happier Living. It is very helpful to have both my psychiatrist and psychologist in the same place. They are able to read each other’s notes. I believe this provides me with better care. The office staff is very good. Client Support handles my scheduling, billing and questions.
