Dr. Karen Vertti is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.

Dr. Vertti attended Walden University, where she received a Doctorate degree in Social Work with a Criminal Justice Specialization, and Grand Valley State University, where she graduated with a Masters in Social Work.

Although Dr. Vertti has worked with the criminal justice population, she enjoys the regular population just as much. Over the years, she has specialized in working with mothers and children, men, and sex offenders.

Karen is passionate about trauma! She feels that she can help people find the method to their madness - within the trauma - and some kind of a resolution. Dr. Vertti uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy (TFCBT), insight-oriented therapy, and motivational therapy (MT). She also specializes in providing sex offender therapy.

Outside of work, her hobbies include trying to work out 3-4 days per week, meditating, listening to music, and reading suspense novels. She indulges in TV (Roku, Hulu, Netflix, prime video, etc.) to get recharged.
