Kensie Hoag is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern California. Mrs. Hoag has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Kansas State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas.
Ms. Hoag has extensive experience with serious and persistent mental illness and utilizes this, training, and certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people gain insight into their lives and make changes to their daily behaviors for a happier future. Mrs. Hoag has experience working with children and providing family therapy, as well as addiction counseling, trauma group work, and individual psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. Mrs. Hoag also uses Dialectical Behavior approaches and models from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to explore core beliefs and address underlying trauma. Helping people overcome these struggles is Mrs. Hoag’s passion and she is excited to continue this journey with you.
