Dr. Aimee Keith, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with a rich background in treating eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders. With nine years of dedicated experience in higher levels of care, Dr. Keith is passionate about helping individuals navigate complex challenges, specializing in OCD, OCD spectrum disorders (including skin picking, hair pulling, hoarding, and perfectionism), trauma, and specific eating disorders such as Binge Eating Disorder and ARFID Avoidant type.
Dr. Keith holds a PsyD and an MA in Psychology from Antioch University Seattle, an MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a BA in Psychology from Western Washington University. In addition to her extensive clinical training, she is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma and has completed specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention through the International OCD Foundation.
Dr. Keith’s approach to therapy is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices and is guided by a behavioral lens. She not only explores why individuals act as they do but also supports them in making impactful, positive changes. Her work is both direct and compassionate, as she respects her clients' autonomy while encouraging meaningful growth. Known for her sense of humor, Dr. Keith finds that humor can be a powerful therapeutic tool, making her sessions approachable and supportive.
A Seattle native, Dr. Keith discovered her passion for psychology early on, inspired by her own positive experiences with therapy. She has long been intrigued by how people think and behave, and she finds profound satisfaction in seeing clients achieve meaningful progress. Moving to Texas for her internship, she further honed her skills and ultimately found her calling in the specialized field of eating disorders. She also values integrating spirituality into therapy when requested, having grounded her doctoral research in understanding spiritual struggle and its resolution following trauma.
When she’s not working, Dr. Keith is an avid board game enthusiast and enjoys reading, writing fiction, biking, and diamond painting. She values open communication in her clinical practice, welcoming feedback and questions from her clients to foster a safe, honest space for healing and growth.
