Crystal De La Riva received both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University.

Crystal has always been drawn to helping others, and working in this field allows her to help people at a level not possible in other professions. She feels honored to hear clients’ stories and be a part of their journeys.

Growing up, Crystal watched her grandmother care for others, whether they were patients, neighbors, or strangers. This inspired her and cultivated a deep sense of empathy and compassion. She carries this into her work with her clients, wanting them to feel supported, seen, and heard.

Crystal loves seeing clients fulfill their goals and develop patience along the way and being a part of this unique process. She believes strongly that representation in the mental health field is important, and she strives to support clients from marginalized backgrounds. While she isn’t fluent in Spanish, she is familiar with some Spanish if it is pertinent to a client’s culture.

When she isn’t working, Crystal enjoys taking care of her growing plant collection (no pun intended). Additionally, she takes pleasure in antique/vintage shopping, listening to records, and cuddling with her two dogs.
