Ms. Julie Dunn graduated from Western Illinois University and graduated as Bachelor of Arts – Board of Trustees and at Capella University and earned Masters of Science in Addictions Counseling with High Honors.

Julie has experience working with individuals and their families as an addiction and mental health therapist. She has provided care at all levels, including residential, intensive outpatient, extended outpatient, continuing care, and detoxification. Her focus of service is on trauma-informed care and educating about the disease concept of addiction. Julie utilizes a co-occurring, client-centered approach and understands that mental health concerns and substance use disorders can go hand in hand. She provides services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Julie’s happy place is the beach and Lake Michigan and she enjoys spending time with her family. She trains in Tae Kwon Do and also enjoys kickboxing and TaeKardio.
