Dr. Lizette Kinder, Psy.D., is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with a passion for empowering clients to overcome challenges and unlock their potential. With a Doctor of Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology, an APA-accredited program, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Kinder brings a solid academic foundation to her practice.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kinder has worked with a diverse range of clients, including individuals in community mental health settings and those in correctional facilities, where she has honed her skills in evidence-based therapies. She is well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), offering tailored, effective treatment options for each client’s unique needs. Dr. Kinder’s bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish allow her to create a welcoming space for clients from various backgrounds, ensuring accessibility and comfort.

Growing up in a culturally diverse environment shaped her commitment to underserved communities and fueled her curiosity about human behavior and mental health. Dr. Kinder’s life experiences and values continue to drive her dedication to supporting clients on their path to empowerment and self-growth.
For Dr. Kinder, the most rewarding aspect of her work is witnessing the transformative growth her clients experience. She finds inspiration in her clients’ resilience and is motivated by their progress, whether they are healing from trauma, managing anxiety and depression, or rebuilding their lives.
